Julian Wakeford

APAC Lead

Julian Wakeford joined InX in August 2017 and is the APAC Lead for our Strategy and Consulting practice. Based in Australia, he focuses on Partner and Partner-1 hires, team lifts, and acquisition targets for large international strategy firms and boutique management consultancies. Julian plays a key role in expanding the InX and The IN Group brands across the Asia Pacific region, supporting clients with critical leadership and team-building initiatives.

With a background in finance and economics, Julian transitioned into recruitment after starting his career in sales. His journey began in London and has since taken him to Melbourne, where he continues to help clients build world-class teams.

Outside of work, Julian is passionate about the outdoors and staying active. He enjoys triathlons, running, swimming, and hiking. These days, much of his time is spent with his dog and his newborn, embracing the joys of family life alongside his professional endeavors.
