Derek’s 25 years in the recruitment sector have rightly established him as a respected and proven market leader. He rapidly rose to Managing Director at Lorien, where he spent almost 18 years building domain expertise in technology, and largescale innovative talent solutions.

Derek joined Investigo in 2017 as an Executive Director and has had a huge impact on the business ever since, transforming our technology and transformation practice and overseeing our growth into Europe. Derek’s expertise in business development, customer growth, and talent retention has empowered a culture of individual excellence and positivity where people are trusted and inspired to be their best. A passionate spokesperson and changemaker in DEI, Derek’s an advocate of LGBTQ+ rights and leads our group efforts to support Pride. Breaking ground as the Founder of Campaign, he has brought the competition together to offer recruitment’s first LGBTQ+ support and mentoring group, launching in January 2023. We could not be prouder of the change Campaign will make to our industry, and our communities within it.
